So I had the distinct pleasure in this episode to sit down and have a tremendous conversation with Guy Welsh of Empower Financial Group. We get into many topics of Guy's career, including his time in professional baseball and what led to his decision to become the phenomenal financial advisor he is today. Additionally, Guy discusses his own personal mission as a financial advisor and some of the characteristics you should look for in a financial advisor for yourself.
This episode is certainly an inspiring one. If you feel "stuck" in corporate, you'll learn why and how Guy turned that life into one of a successful small business owner. If you feel that your mindset is lackluster, we talk about how the "Hard 75" has had a positive effect on both of our mindsets and focus - although our favorite bartender, Jaime at The Sands Club, doesn't care much for us now.
We also touch upon personal branding and what separates Guy from his competition. And, for the baseball fans out there, Guy tells us why he's never had a favorite team and which pitcher he'd most want to hit against.
